Location was perfect, rooms are very clean and bright. The pool is amazing as the pool bar. The beach service is quite good also with sunbeds and towels.

Before I booked the hotel I checked the reviews and all the amenities they offered. I booked and added our check-in time the hotel stated they would try to accommodate us. We walked in around 12:30 midnight and the manager greeted us, checked us in and told us if we needed anything to let her know. The staff/hotel exceeded all our expectations! If you are looking for a hotel in the Ft. Lauderdale area Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection would be your best bet. The entire staff was friendly and assisted us with whatever we needed. The hotel amenities: nice areas to sit and relax or get those picture-perfect opportunities, Starbucks, breakfast (not included in your stay), brunch, dinner, nice pool area with view of the beach, beach access with complimentary (towels, chairs, water). The hotel is within walking distance of Las Olas Blvd and several restaurants, some that are open until 3 am. Want something fun to do, there’s the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center with the Olympic Sized pools that’s right across the street. Depending on what side of the hotel you’re on you can see it from your room, if not you can go and tour it. There’s the Water Taxi that you can take around Ft. Lauderdale. It has 2 stops near Hotel Maren, both within 8 minutes or less, 1 stop is by the Fire Station (Stop 5), and the other is on Las Olas Blvd (Stop 6) I would suggest leaving from Stop 6. I believe the Water Taxi is $30 dollars and you can ride it until 7 pm. If you are looking for a nice brunch spot go to Shooter’s Waterfront, it’s about a 15-minute drive from the hotel, you can also get to it via the Water Taxi as well as the Galleria Mall for those that are looking to shop.

The room was huge, as was the balcony (which was also not covered so can be used for sunbathing). The ocean view was amazing. The hotel provided a good selection of food at a reasonable price. The pool area is great, also with an ocean view. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Unusual property which has evolved into a hotel. Rooms are spacious. Sean who helped with our bags and gave us some good recommendations is an excellent member of the team. I hope Hilton knows how lucky they are to have him on board. To be fair, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good and staff were friendly but menu was a bit limited. The hotel allows dogs and we met some lovely canines during our stay, all very well behaved and friendly.

The Maren is a special experience. The staff are fantastic and so helpful from the second you arrive until you are back to the airport, wishing you could have stayed longer. SEAN, the concierge deserves the biggest props. OMG. He is so nice, so helpful with everything, and a genuine guy who always goes the extra mile. And he always seems to be where you need him. He is fantastic. Special props also to Ryan, Alex, Helen, Jennifer, Cindee!! The General Manager should be very proud. All of his staff are great. Concierge, Pool Bartender, Restaurant Staff, Front Desk, Housekeeping, & Valets. Our 3rd time here with more to come. 10/10!! Michael from Long Island

This was our second time staying at this property. It’s in the perfect location, the views from the pool deck are stunning. The rooms are large and spacious also very clean. All of the staff is always delightful

The room was spacious with high ceilings. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool and beach, it was perfect! Had all the necessary amenities. The staff were all so pleasant from the front desk to the bartender at the pool to the young men who helped us on the beach. The restaurant downstairs had impeccable food and great seating. Also a plus was the Starbucks and gift shop downstairs.

Wonderful restaurant were we had many more meals than initially planned. I wanted to try everything on the meny. All staff was very friendly and helpful. My favorite spot was to watch the sunrise and read and write at the pool deck early in the morning.

Everything about Hotel Maren was perfect. The staff was lovely. The location was perfect. The hotel is directly across from the beach, and in walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The room was clean and we had a beautiful marina view. The food and drinks we had at the restaurant down in the lobby and by the pool were very good! Overall this was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and it worth every penny! When we go back to Fort Lauderdale, we will be booking at Hotel Maren.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. This was the first time we traveled since Covid. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make you feel at home and comfortable. The restaurant, pool and beach were great as well. The beach wasn't crowded at all and the hotel and rooms were very clean. Not overly crowded, close to restaurants, stores - all in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!!
